Warranty Statement
Lexmark warranty terms vary for different products and for
different countries of purchase. Please refer to your original point
of purchase or your nearest Lexmark stockist for warranty options
available to you.
All products sold or distributed
by Lexmark International Inc., or any of its subsidiaries
(hereinafter called Lexmark) are guaranteed to
be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for the period of the product's warranty. This
warranty shall extend to the original end purchaser
only. Lexmark, at its option, shall repair or
replace any Lexmark product within the Terms of
Warranty expressed herein, which fails to meet
the product's specifications. Warranty service
must only be performed by an Authorised Lexmark
Service Centre. A copy of the proof of purchase
must be supplied in the event of your product
requiring warranty service.
This warranty does
not extend to product failures or defects caused
by, or associated with, but not limited to; failure
to install or maintain correctly, unsuitable physical
or operating environment, accident, acts of God,
hazard, misuse, electrical supply, unauthorised
repair, modification or alteration or the use
of non-Lexmark parts, accessories or consumables.
All other warranties either expressed or implied
will not be honoured by Lexmark except those pursuant
to the Trade Practices or Fair Trading Acts.
Lexmark will not accept any liability
or responsibility under the terms of warranty expressed herein for,
but not limited to; negligence, loss of profit or data or damages
either material or personal. Mandatory liability shall be restricted
to the sum equal to the purchase of the product.
Free remote technical support is provided for this product throughout
its warranty period. Lexmark offers a variety of extended warranty
programs that include an extension of technical support. For
products no longer covered by Lexmark Warranty, technical support
may only be available for a fee.
