Gary Stromquist is vice president and interim chief financial officer for Lexmark International, Inc. In addition to corporate finance functions, he is responsible for Lexmark's investor relations, information technology, strategy and development, and internal audit and security functions.
Prior to being named interim CFO in May 2014, Stromquist was vice president of finance for Lexmark’s Imaging Solutions and Services and the corporate finance group. From 2010 to 2014, he was responsible for financial budgeting and forecasting, strategic business planning, business development and pricing, and cost and expense management. Before that he was Lexmark’s vice president and corporate controller for nine years.
Stromquist has been with Lexmark since its inception in 1991. He has served as vice president of OEM and alliances and vice president of finance in the former Consumer Printer Division, as well as director of corporate planning. He began his career with IBM, holding various accounting and financial staff and management positions.
Stromquist holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in business administration from Xavier University.
