The Target Account Manager is responsible for generating sales for assigned named accounts or territory. Contacts/visits existing and prospective customers. Builds and maintains network of colleagues, partners and customers to share information and obtain prospects. Observes and participates in presenting products and/or services that can benefit customer's needs. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products and/or services. Sells Hardware, Warranty and Software Solutions to accounts in assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and education:

  • Minimum of 5 years end user and hardware or software sales experience
  • Proven track record in competitive selling and account management in the technology field, preferably printer/copier/software industry
  • Experience selling into the Oil and Gas Industry an asset
  • Software/solutions sales experience preferred
  • Must have a proven track record opening new accounts
  • Must be goal-driven with a proven track record to drive a high volume of sales activities
  • Experience working with C Level Executives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products
  • A good grounding in PC and network concepts and the ability to apply these skills to understanding and delivering printing solutions to our customers is essential
  • Must have post-secondary education (University degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
