Regional Services Manager (Managed Print Services) - Calgary or Edmonton, A.B.

The Regional Services Manager (RSM) will lead MPS sales pursuits as an overlay specialist in support of our account teams in the southeast to develop and drive Smart Managed Print Services Solutions sales with our customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to maintain renewals with the current southeast MPS account base with the Key Account teams and grow our MPS revenue by adding new MPS customers to our account set with the Target Account teams.
  • Ensure consistent messaging within our proposals and presentations to MPS prospects.
  • Lead and train the sales teams on our MPS value proposition and the components that differentiate Lexmark to win.
  • Work with the Lexmark MPS leadership team to identify areas for improvement in our MPS business and participate in solving those opportunities.
  • Participate monthly with the Lexmark leadership team in monthly meetings to communicate the state of the MPS business in the southeast region from a sales standpoint. 
  • Lead oral presentations including planning and execution.
  • Frequent travel to meet with customers and prospects to advance the sales cycle and close MPS opportunities.
  • Effectively collaborate with customer executives to close MPS contracts
  • Understand our global MPS sales process and capabilities to drive global MPS opportunities through the funnel to closure.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess the skillset to lead a cross functional team of sales, consulting, operations, technical resources, business development, and contracts through the sales process as a unified team to close new MPS customers for Lexmark.
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills to guide our internal teams through the MPS sales process.
  • Typical rule is 80% of time spent on qualifying, developing, proposing and closing new MPS customers with 20% of time focused on renewing our existing accounts.
  • Possess the necessary analytical skills to put Lexmark in the best position strategically to win deals based on our strengths and value proposition.  

Skills and Education desired in a successful candidate: 

  • Minimum 5 Years of Managed Print Services sales/sales process experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Be proficient at delivering the Lexmark value proposition and the MPS value proposition
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent relationship building skills - ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and organization skills
  • Possess strong negotiation skills; demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate required
  • Individual must demonstrate a high level of business acumen;  ability to get along well with diverse personalities
  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.  Mindset that enables solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment while delivering on customer deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products
  • BA/BS/BBA degree in Business or equivalent experience preferred
