Administrative

Administrative professionals ensure that both corporate and employee operations run smoothly, as well as supporting the executive team. They maintain successful processes that run behind-the scenes, and often create the first impression of the Lexmark organization for customers, vendors, potential employees and visitors.

College Co-op and Internships

Full-time college students gain real-world exposure in a variety of fields through internships, semester co-ops and part-time positions. In addition to real work assignments, interns participate in a wide variety of professional and social activities, including lunch and learn sessions with executives, intramural sports and technical symposiums.

Engineering and Design

Engineers of all disciplines are the driving force behind Lexmark's hardware, software and services. A top-notch team that boasts some of the best technical talent across the country is the brains behind our differentiated products and solutions. Engineers and developers at Lexmark work on modern technical trends such as cloud computing, machine learning and IoT technology.

Finance and Accounting

Finance and Accounting professionals handle the accounting, finance and tax divisions, as well as the more technical responsibilities in the SAP Center of Excellence. The team is comprised of individuals with strong analytical skills, superior attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem solving. Roles can encompass several areas of finance, including accounting, audit, treasury, financial analysis and strategy.

Human Resources

Human Resources (HR) is responsible for programs and policies that support one of Lexmark’s most valuable assets: our employees. The corporate HR team is dedicated to creating a rewarding workplace culture that attracts and retains first-class talent. Among the areas in which HR employees specialize: recruiting, talent management, employee benefits, HR data management and community relations.

Information Technology

Information Technology (IT) is responsible for storing, protecting, processing, transmitting and retrieving information. IT professionals such as system administrators, database administrators, desktop technicians, business system analysts and solution engineers help business areas across Lexmark manage and access information—whether stored on computers, servers, database management systems, or in the cloud. Our team members have specific certifications and training such as A+, MCTS, MCITP, MSCE, Six Sigma, Comp TIA. Network+, Security+ and/or ITIL.

Legal

Lexmark’s legal team advises and protects the rights and duties of our corporation and ensures the legality of commercial transactions. The intellectual property group within the department works to secure protection for the company's intellectual property rights (including patents, copyrights and trademarks). In addition, they manage both offensive and defensive intellectual property litigation, including Lexmark's efforts to protect our patented laser cartridge technology.

Manufacturing

U.S. manufacturing positions are available at Lexmark’s Boulder, Colo., development and manufacturing facility, which processes toner and photoconductor drums for our laser print cartridges. Roles include chemical engineers, chemical operators, chemists, mechanical engineers, facilities, maintenance and supply chain. Here, the development and product engineering teams work together to both optimize existing products and implement new products.

Marketing and Communications

Marketing and Communications roles are responsible for creating and maintaining the outward-facing brand, presenting Lexmark well in the marketplace by influencing the community and our prospects, and ultimately, driving revenue. Areas of focus include influence marketing, demand generation, global campaigns, customer and employee communications, public relations, program management, business operations, web operations and development, marketing automation, and creative content and design.

Product and Client Support

Product and Client Support positions are on the front lines every day, delivering business value to our customers through our industry best practices, products and solutions. Whether it’s face to face or over the phone, our technically savvy and business-minded teams work directly with customers to rethink business processes, design solutions to create efficiencies, and provide 24/7 troubleshooting and customer support. Positions include global operations support managers, customer operations managers, professional service consultants, product support engineers and field service engineers.

Sales and Account Management

The Sales and Account Management team is comprised of both direct and indirect roles, including account managers, sales engineers, solutions architects and sales professionals who bring our award-winning technology and services to organizations around the world. Our sales team members are focused on key industries: healthcare, higher education, retail, manufacturing, insurance, banking, back office and managed print services (MPS).

Supply Chain

The Supply Chain organization is responsible for coordinating and balancing business and manufacturing needs while simultaneously optimizing low inventories and delivery costs. The team is comprised of individuals with strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving. Roles include vendor management, purchasing, supply chain management and support.
