Lexmark to donate $50,000 to help China earthquake disaster relief efforts
 
LEXINGTON, Ky. - 05/19/2008

Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) has pledged to donate $50,000 to the International Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help provide aid to the communities affected by the massive earthquake in China on May 12.

In addition, many Lexmark employees have made personal donations to support these efforts. Lexmark has offices in China, but no employees were directly impacted by the earthquake.

"Our thoughts are with those in the region as they cope with enormous loss and begin to rebuild for the future," said Paul J. Curlander, Lexmark chairman and chief executive officer. "As a corporate citizen with operations in the affected area, Lexmark is committed to providing support and resources to those impacted by this tragedy, and we hope that our donation will have a positive impact on the relief efforts."
