Lexmark’s new multifunction printers make it easier for businesses to consolidate devices while improving business processes

Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) today unveiled three powerful new multifunction printers (MFPs) that consolidate printing, copying, faxing and network scanning functions into compact, easy-to-use, money-saving devices that help businesses improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their operations.

The Lexmark X630, X632 and X632e join the company’s line of robust workgroup MFPs to directly address the versatility requirements in the distributed printing environment, while offering a number of enhancements, including faster scanning and output speeds, and improved reliability.

At the heart of the MFPs announced today is network printer technology from the T-family of Lexmark monochrome laser printers that were also unveiled today. In addition to the high performance and solutions capabilities of the new T-family of printers, these MFPs offer faster scan speeds, higher resolution and powerful capabilities to move information electronically.

Lexmark X630

The Lexmark X630, priced at $2,749, is fast, reliable and the most affordable MFP in its class. Small enterprise workgroups and individual businesses of various sizes will appreciate that the Lexmark X630 prints and copies at up to 35 pages per minute (ppm), and also offers simplex monochrome and color scanning at up to 15 ppm. The network-ready Lexmark X630 includes a 25-sheet automatic document feeder, an integrated fax modem, plus scanning and network capability.

Lexmark X632
The
Lexmark X632, priced at $3,749, is a high-performance MFP that is versatile enough to scale to the requirements of demanding workgroups. It prints and copies at up to 40 ppm and comes standard with a 50-sheet automatic document feeder. In addition to fax, the X632 supports a wide array of scanning features, such as single-pass duplex scanning, and color scanning to the network or to e-mail. When used with Lexmark’s Document Distributor offerings, the X632 is an integral part of an enterprise’s document management solution.

Lexmark X632e

The Lexmark X632e, priced at $6,459, is a powerful, innovative solution to help streamline business processes. Also built around the networkable version of the new Lexmark T632 laser printer, the Lexmark X632e prints and copies at up to 40 ppm and scans at up to 23 ppm. It provides seamless integration with corporate directories for effortless e-mail and fax lookup, and the intuitive touch screen interface provides industry leading ease of use. When used in conjunction with the Lexmark Document Solutions Suite, the Lexmark X632e streamlines business operations with multidestination routing and automation of key document processes. In addition, the look and function of the MFP panel can be customized to meet the needs of a specific industry or workgroup. This enables users to easily access common workflow tasks with the minimum amount of training and physical steps.
