Lexmark’s new personal monochrome laser printers combine big value in a small footprint

Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) today introduced two new personal monochrome laser printers that bring enhanced performance and affordability to the personal printer market category. The Lexmark E321 and E323 are business-class devices that are perfect for space-critical personal printing.

Making them attractive to large enterprises, small and medium businesses, and high-volume home users, both of the new Lexmark printers offer such desirable attributes as:

    – both the Lexmark E321 and E323 offer tremendous value at their price points.

    – with low acquisition prices and competitive costs per page, these devices are extremely affordable to purchase, use and maintain.

The Lexmark E321 and E323 replace the Lexmark E320 and E322 respectively. In both cases, the upgraded model offers faster output speeds, faster processors, a quick time to first print and more memory.

Lexmark E321
The Lexmark E321 is an affordable, high-performance laser printer for personal and business applications. It’s a small printer with a small price, but it will have a big impact on the personal mono laser market because of its value proposition. Available immediately for just $299 – the Lexmark E321 is the first sub-$300 laser printer with a rated print speed of up to 20 pages per minute. Additionally, the Lexmark E321 printer includes a 100 MHz processor, 8 MB of memory, and has a time to first print rating of less than 10 seconds.

Lexmark E323 and E323n
The Lexmark E323 is a powerful, compact, desktop laser printer that expands with the user’s needs. The E323 includes a 200 MHz processor, 16MB of memory and PostScript level 3 support. This printer is available immediately and sells for just $399. The Lexmark E323n offers internal networking capability for $599.
