The Lexmark W812 monochrome laser printer introduced today by Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) offers a powerful price/performance proposition and enhances Lexmark’s offerings for key target markets. The Lexmark W812 is an A3 (wide-format) solution designed to meet the distributed printing needs of Asian markets and the special-application requirements of small and medium businesses. The W812 is also versatile enough to handle vertical industry applications such as computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering, cartography, retail signage and oversized labels.

The Lexmark W812 fulfills a variety of key customer requirements, including affordable acquisition cost, small footprint and exceptional print quality.

“The Lexmark W812 is a robust printer that incorporates the performance, reliability and capabilities demanded by the world’s largest corporations, but at an affordable price that can fit into any company’s budget,” said Paul Rooke, Lexmark vice president and president of its Printing Solutions and Services Division.

Engineered to provide the best price/performance in its class of A3 printers, the Lexmark W812 prints at 26 pages per minute, provides duplexing capability, handles a variety of media including heavy card stock, and can be configured for tailored applications such as barcode printing and printing directly from the Internet.

Unrivaled ease of use is a distinguishing feature of the Lexmark W812. Lexmark MarkVision Professional software simplifies network set-up and printer management, and an intuitive operator panel makes access to specialty functions fast and efficient.

The Lexmark W812 expands the company’s monochrome and color laser families of award-winning printing solutions, and is a continuation of Lexmark’s price/performance leadership for general office printing and special applications.

“The development of the Lexmark W812 reinforces our commitment to provide customer solutions in distributed output environments, which is the direction the market is moving,” continued Rooke.

The Lexmark W812 has an estimated street price of $1,439*, and is available immediately. For a full listing of authorized Lexmark solution providers, visit www.lexmark.com/US/products/catalog/
