Independent test labs shower Lexmark products with accolades
– Lexmark laser products on a record-setting pace for product awards, spurred by latest honors from BERTL and Buyers Laboratory –

Judged by both the number and the significance of awards garnered by its products, Lexmark is having what is shaping up to be a record year.

The latest proof comes from two independent testing labs.

Business Equipment Research and Test Laboratories (BERTL) has awarded Lexmark’s business product line with a broad range of significant product awards this year. Recognizing both printers and multifunction products, the BERTL awards include:

  • Best 20-30ppm Office Color MFP for the Lexmark X752e;
  • Best Range of the Year for all Monochrome Laser Printers;
  • Best Workgroup Corporate Communications Device for the Lexmark X632e;
  • Best Personal Occasional Color Desktop Printer for the Lexmark C510; and
  • Best Network Management Utility for Lexmark’s MarkVision Professional, a Lexmark software that allows network administrators to manage printers, multifunction devices and servers anywhere in the world from their desktops.

Also bestowing awards was Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI), a leading independent office products test lab and business consumer advocate.  BLI awarded five “Spring 2004, Pick of the Year” awards to Lexmark – bringing Lexmark’s total number of BLI awards this year to 10.

The Buyers Lab “Spring 2004 Pick of the Year” awards include:

  • Outstanding Workgroup Monochrome printer for the Lexmark T632n;
  • Outstanding Multi-Pass Color Laser/LED printer for the Lexmark C510dtn
  • Outstanding Color Laser Multifunction printer for the Lexmark X912e;
  • Outstanding Small Office and Home Office Monochrome Laser Multifunction for the Lexmark X422; and
  • Outstanding Laser Multifunction printer for the Lexmark X632e.  

BLI also honored Lexmark with an Outstanding Achievement Award for Lexmark’s multifunction printer line.

The distinctions bestowed by the test labs cover a wide range of mono laser, color laser, MFP and network management Lexmark products that are targeted for both small and medium sized businesses and corporate enterprises.
