In its June edition, PC World names the Lexmark X7170 All-in-One (AIO) to its list of top 10 inkjet multifunction printers. The printer offers printing, scanning and faxing capabilities together with document management software.

“Lexmark clearly aims its $180* X7170 at small offices, with features like a 50-sheet automatic document feeder and the ability to fax in color. The control panel consists of a backlit two-line LCD and a set of speed-dial buttons for frequently used fax numbers,” notes PC World in its review.

The publication cited the printer’s ease-of-use in switching to specialty printing tasks, its useful software bundle and its text output speed, which it said was faster than any other printer on the list. PC World also cited the Lexmark X7170’s “excellent” photo printing.

“The Lexmark X7170 is designed to provide the small business market with the functionality and the document management software that allows small business owners to spend less time managing documents and more time managing their business,” said Najib Bahous, Lexmark vice president and president of its Consumer Printer Division. “We are delighted the X7170 has been recognized by leading technical magazines like PC World."

In May, Better Buys for Business, a leading publication on document imaging equipment, also bestowed an Editor’s Choice award on the Lexmark X7170.

Small business customers can buy the Lexmark X7170 through retailers such as Staples or through CDW, Insight, PC Connection, PC Mall, Zones, and many other solution providers.
