Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) was recently named Best Revenue Generator by channel partners at CMP Media’s Government Integrator 2006 Conference, beating out more than 40 other vendors. This is the fourth consecutive CMP Media conference at which Lexmark has earned this honor. The award was based on votes from more than 110 solution providers in attendance at the conference that specialize in local, state and federal government and the education market. Lexmark was recognized for its in-depth knowledge of the government and education vertical industries and for providing unique solutions that help increase channel partner profitability and customer productivity in those areas. Examples of Lexmark's industry-specific applications include color photo wristbands that aid in patient identification in hospitals and solutions that make student testing and assessment faster, easier and more accurate for teachers. “The pairing of Lexmark's extensive experience in the government and education verticals with our strong partner focus is a winning combination for solution providers,” said Paul Rooke, Lexmark executive vice president and president of its Printing Solutions and Services Division. “We are very pleased to receive this recognition from the channel.” To learn more about Lexmark’s channel programs and vertical solutions, please visit www.lexmark.com or call 1-800-LEXMARK.
