PC Magazine, a leading technology publication, recently gave Lexmark International’s (NYSE: LXK) C500n color laser printer a four star rating. The printer was selected for the honor based on print quality, speed and price.

"At $399 (direct), the Lexmark C500n is one of the most affordable color laser printers on the planet,” PC Magazine said.

“Even more impressive is that for this price, it makes no compromises on output quality, offers good speed, and has a network connector,” PC Magazine added, noting that “the Lexmark C500n offers all the speed and quality you’d expect from a color laser printer at an unexpectedly low price.”

With fast speeds of up to 31 pages per minute (ppm) in monochrome and 8 ppm in color, the Lexmark C500n can easily serve as the primary printing device for customers who require color but also print large volumes of black and white documents.  The Lexmark C500n also comes standard with networking so the printer can easily be shared by several users in a small workgroup, reducing the cost of maintenance and supplies.
