Assembly Database Update |
| |
The assembly database can now be obtained via Lexmark's FTP site. The information in this database is what shows up on the Assembly tab in the Parts Catalog application. You may download the latest update file below:
Download latest assembly update: Date: 11/2006 -- Size: 90.1 MB
NOTE: This update applies to version 04/2003 of the Lexmark Service Parts Identification Catalog.
Update Instructions:
- Shut down the Parts Catalog if it's running on your computer.
-
Download the update file linked to above into the folder where you installed the Parts Catalog. The default for this folder is something like "c:\program files\lexmark international, inc.\lexmark parts catalog". You should be asked to replace the existing assembly database file.
-
Restart the Parts Catalog. The program does not report the version of the assembly database. If you really want to ensure that you have the latest file, you'll have to open the database via Microsoft Access 2000 and look up version information manually. This is not recommended, nor should it be necessary.
