Overview
Lexmark has developed Windows® XP drivers for its newest series of printers. In addition, Lexmark has been working closely with Microsoft to ensure printing support for most of its previous product lines, including the 1000, 1100, 3200, 5700, Z11, Z31, Z51, Z12, Z22, Z32, Z42, and Z52 printers. As a result, the majority of Lexmark printers will be compatible with Windows® XP right out of the box.

New, easy-to-use Windows® XP driver interfaces for Lexmark inkjets
A new intuitive user interface, the "Lexmark Solution Center", has been created for Lexmark Z series Windows® XP users. It guides you through all printing possibilities and takes advantage of the clean and simple design of Windows® XP.
The new printer interface easily allows you to select printer settings, such as print quality, paper types and paper sizes. Lexmark Solution Center is a one-stop center for all your printing needs.

Custom Drivers
Custom Lexmark drivers are available for most Lexmark printers from the Lexmark web site. These custom drivers take advantage of features available on many Lexmark printers that aren't available through the drivers shipping with Windows® XP, such as the Lexmark Solution Center detailed above, paper handling, and print status monitoring options.
