Lexmark All-In-One Center Main Page

The All-In-One Center Main Page has two main sections: Scan tab and Copy tab. If more than one Lexmark All-In-One is installed on your computer, the Device pop-up menu is displayed on top of the dialog. Choose Lexmark 5200 Series from this menu.

Scan tab

What is being scanned?

Select the option closest to the type of image you are scanning. Your settings are optimized based on your selection.

How will the scan be used?

Choose the way the scan will be used. Resolution and other settings are optimized based on your selection.

Choose where to send scanned images to

Choose an application to send the scanned image to, such as to file, to fax, to the Clipboard, or to an application. For information on adding, removing, or modifying an application in the list of software applications, go to Edit the Application List Setup.

Note:

Some applications only accept black (mono) scans.

Prompt for multiple pages

Prompt for multiple pages so that you are able to finish multi-page scanning before sending the output to an application. You are prompted to add the next page after each page is scanned. If you still have more pages to scan, click Scan. If your multi-page scan is complete, click Done.

Note:

Some applications do not let you scan multiple items at once.

Copy tab

Quantity & Copy Type

Choose the quantity and color for your copies.

Copy Quality

Select a quality setting for your copies.

Output Paper Type

Choose the paper type for your output.

Prompt for multiple pages

Prompt for multiple pages so that you are able to do multi-page copying. You are prompted to add the next page after each page is scanned and copied. If you have more pages to copy, click Copy. If your multi-page copy is complete, click Done.

Original Paper Size

Choose a paper size for your original document. If you do not know the original size, choose Auto. The All-In-One software detects the size and adjusts the scanning function accordingly.

Note:

Choosing Auto from Original Paper Size on the Copy tab main dialog enables the auto-crop function in the Preview dialog.

Zoom

Enlarge or reduce your copies by percent, or choose a preset size from the drop-down menu.

Note:

The software scales to fit the selected size as closely as possible without cropping or distorting your image.

Click Preview to open the Scan tab and the Copy dialog for more scan and copy settings.
