Closing the scanner unit

First, make sure there are no objects obstructing the scanner unit.

1. Raise the scanner unit, and then push the scanner support back.
2. Carefully lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
   
   

   Note:

   The scanner unit must be closed to begin a print, copy, or scan job.
