Scanning an item for Web page view
- Load an original document on the scanner glass.
- Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
- Select the Scan tab.
- From the "What is being scanned?" menu, choose the type of item you are scanning: Photo, Mixed Graphics and Text, Magazine or Newspaper, or Black Text.
- From the "How will the scanned image be used?" pop-up menu, choose To be viewed on monitor/Web page.
- Click Scan.
