Making sure the All-In-One is set as the default printer

For Mac OS X version 10.2.3

1. From the Finder desktop, choose Go  Applications  Utilities  Print Center. The Printer List window appears.
2. Select 4300 Series from the list.
3. Click Make Default on the dialog, or from the "Printers" pop-up menu, choose Make Default.

For Mac OS X version 10.3

1. From the Finder desktop, choose Applications  Utilities  Printer Setup Utility. The Printer List window appears.
2. Select 4300 Series from the list.
3. Click Make Default on the dialog, or from the "Printers" pop-up menu, choose Make Default.
