Choose a paper type

From your computer:

The Paper type sensor of your printer automatically chooses the paper type. However, you can manually choose a paper type from the Print dialog.

1. With your document open, choose File   Print... . The Print dialog appears.
2. From the Printer pop-up menu, choose Lexmark P910 Series.
3. From the pop-up menu that says Copies & Pages, choose Quality & Media.
4. From Paper Type, choose from:
   • Automatic
   • Plain
   • Coated
   • Standard Glossy/Photo
   • Lexmark Premium Glossy
   • Lexmark Everyday Glossy
   • Transparency
   • Iron-On Transfer

   Note:

   Choosing Automatic turns on the Paper type sensor.

From your printer:

1. Insert a memory card.
2. From the I Want To screen, scroll to View Photos or Print and press the Select button.
3. Browse and select a photo you want to print.
4. Press Menu.
5. From the Menu, scroll to Paper Type.
6. Press or to scroll to the paper type you have loaded into your printer. The paper types available are:
   • Auto-detect
   • Plain
   • Coated
   • Glossy
   • Transparency
7. Press Select to save the setting.
