Q. What is PictBridge?

A. PictBridge is a CIPA (Camera & Imaging Product Association) standard that provides a direct connection between digital cameras and printers. In PictBridge, the digital camera is connected directly to a printer via a USB cable to print photos without using a PC. Both the digital camera and the printer must be PictBridge Certified to communicate.

Q. Do I need a PC to print my digital photos using the Lexmark P315?

A. You can print directly from your digital camera memory card or from a PictBridge Certified digital camera. It is not possible to print from a PC to the Lexmark P315.
