A. Yes, with up to 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution, and a small drop size (7 pl), the Lexmark X1185 can handle all your photo printing needs. The Lexmark X1185 works great on any type of paper, but for premium quality output try using the Lexmark Premium Glossy Paper.

A. The easiest way to make a single copy is to first make sure your Lexmark X1185 is connected to your computer and both are turned on. Place the document you want copied on the scanner. Close the lid, then hit the “Color Copy” or “Black Copy”. That’s all there is to it! If you’d like to make multiple copies, open our intuitive software (included in the box) to quickly and easily choose up to 99 copies.

A. Flatbed scanner has a hinged lid under which you can scan photographs, single sheets of paper or 3D objects such as magazines, books, etc. Another type of scanner is a sheetfed scanner which can feed multiple pages of standard size paper, and is best for multiple page faxes, copies or scans. A sheetfed scanner does not allow you to scan 3D objects.
