Q. How do I make copies?
A. The easiest way to make a single copy is to first make sure your PrinTrio Photo is connected to your computer and both are turned on. Place the document you want copied on the scanner. If you’d like to make multiple copies, open our intuitive PrinTrio Photo software (included in the box) to quickly and easily choose up to 99 copies.

Q. Why is it called "PrinTrio Photo"?
A. The PrinTrio Photo has the power to do a "Trio" of functions: print, copy and scan. The PrinTrio Photo produces 35mm photo quality resolution using 6-color inks and has the ability to produce borderless prints (on select paper sizes). And best of all, it's very simple. With its integrated, easy-to-use operator's panel, you'll be able to scan or copy documents at the touch of just one button!

|
Q. What is 48-bit scanning?
A. Simply put, more bits mean more detail. 48 bit scanning means bringing out all the full, rich detail in the photos you scan or copy for friends and family.
|
|
Q. What is a flatbed scanner?
A. A flatbed scanner (which is the type of scanner on a Lexmark PrinTrio Photo) has a hinged lid under which you can scan photographs, single sheets of paper or 3D objects such as magazines, books, etc. Another type of scanner is a sheetfed scanner (see our X125 or X6170 for this type of scanner), which can feed multiple pages of standard size paper, and is best for multiple page faxes, copies or scans. A sheetfed scanner does not allow you to scan 3D objects.
