The affordable Lexmark Card (or SIMM) for IPDS and SCS/TNe allows you to print jobs from your IBM AS/400 or mainframe to network-attached Lexmark laser printers.
With the Lexmark Card (or SIMM) for IPDS and SCS/TNe you can print either host-based or client-based output on your network-attached Lexmark laser printer eliminating the need for a dedicated IBM AS/400 or mainframe printer.
The Lexmark Card (or SIMM) for IPDS and SCS/TNe supports AS/400 AFP/IPDS and SCS printing over TCP/IP to Lexmark network laser printers. With Lexmark's SmartSwitch auto-emulation sensing built into every Lexmark laser printer, your printer will automatically switch to the proper document language, whether it is SCS, IPDS, PostScript, or PCL emulation.
