Additional Benefits

At Lexmark, we know that our employees not only have careers, they have lives. We’ve implemented a myriad of programs to help them balance the two.

Lexmark has a generous vacation policy based on length of service and age. In addition to designated holidays, employees have up to five personal choice days a year. We offer flextime and part-time work schedules in some cases, and unpaid leaves of absence for those employees who need time off for certain life events.

Our Lexington headquarters has a variety of on-site services, such as cafeterias, banking services, and medical services, including health screenings, overseas travel assistance and physical therapy. The Lexmark Club sponsors recreational and social activities and conducts employee charitable contribution campaigns and blood drives.

There are several Lexington events throughout the year that merge the workplace with families, such as Family Day at Paramount's Kings Island, Kids2Work Day and Lexmark’s Diversity Fair, which gives employees and their families an opportunity to increase their awareness and gain an appreciation for the various cultures represented among our employees.

Lexmark employees can take advantage of two innovative programs. The Special Care for Children program helps parents of children with special needs pay for expenses not covered by traditional health plans.  And our Adoption Assistance Program covers up to $7,000 of eligible expenses per adoption.

Finally, because we encourage employees to give back to their communities, our Volunteer Time Off Program allows employees to take off work with pay for up to three days a year to volunteer with a qualifying organization.
