At Lexmark, we believe that employee growth and development is a shared responsibility among our employees, managers and the organization as a whole. We provide an array of opportunities and resources to help employees learn and acquire new skills and experiences.
Our skills-building initiatives include technical training covering everything from programming concepts for today’s demanding digital print interfaces to product usability training for industrial design engineers. Strategic business initiatives include numerous environmental, health and safety offerings and cutting-edge continuous improvement and product quality training, including Six Sigma Black Belt.
Our leadership offerings begin with a new manager’s training program and progress to an ongoing curriculum designed for the most appropriate and timely skill and knowledge transfer.
Career development initiatives include courses, mentoring programs and a succession management process. Our continuing education program funds up to $5,250 a year for employees taking undergraduate academic courses and up to $25,000 toward an MBA or other advanced degree.
