Tom Eade is senior vice president and chief information and technology officer for Lexmark International. He is responsible for corporate strategy, information technology, software development and data analytics.
Eade’s role expanded to include corporate strategy and IT in 2020 after being named chief technology officer in 2019, responsible for Lexmark’s global research and development operations.
Previously, Eade served as vice president of firmware and software, leading the design, delivery and support of Lexmark software, custom silicon, communication solutions, and system firmware.
Before that, Eade served as industry director from 2013 to 2015, focused on the insurance and banking sectors for Lexmark. Other previous roles include director of research and development, and manager of advanced print engine, scanner and OEM products.
Eade has been with Lexmark since its inception in 1991 and has held numerous management positions in R&D. He began his career with IBM on the 4019 laser printer project.
Eade holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky.
