Then you may be the engineer we’re looking for!

We are hiring software engineers whose responsibility will be to develop quality Lexmark solutions and products for our customers.

We invite you to join our team if:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and other related fields
  • Programming gets you excited and you know Java development like the back of your hand (3+ years experience recommended)
  • You think tracking down bugs and eventually squashing them is a satisfying, cathartic experience
  • You know what Agile development really means and are adaptive to change
  • You've installed and interacted with Gradle, Git, Android Studio, XCode and can differentiate these from the other

Your typical day will include:

  • development of framework platform and solutions
  • critical problem-solving and debugging
  • participation in discussions, brainstorming, design reviews, and code reviews
  • collaboration and strategy discussions with different teams
  • learning new skills while working on your project
  • tracking of and adhering to delivery schedules

On the job, you must demonstrate regularly:

  • The ability to sift through data and information quickly to identify what is essential
  • A genuine commitment to deliver project milestones on-time and with excellent quality
  • Reliability with excellent performance and follow-through on tasks you own
  • A good understanding of engineering processes involved in product development
  • Strong object-oriented design skills
  • The ability to effectively apply systems thinking in solving problems, knowing and keeping in mind that your code does not exist and operate in isolation
  • Willingness to learn from others (and your mistakes)
