Business Area: Information Technology & Compliance

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis and evaluation of user business problems and development of system recommendations to meet requirements. Assignments typically include problem definition, evaluation of requirements, and implementation of systems to meet business and user requirements.

Job Function:

  • Management of :
    • User story related to EBA Reporting group
    • Any internal projects or change request
  • Key role in:
    • BI adoption (incl. communication piece)
    • Assist D2V in sustaining the super users network development (Super user program & training)
    • Business rollouts (define business requirements, testing, etc)
    • Agile BI processes

Duties and Responsibilities:

Management of CI or user story includes:

  • Drives the story to production; owns the story and the overall effort
    • Works with the business to define detailed requirements. Creates the functional spec or works with the business to create the functional spec
    • Coordinates with the technical team for development; coordinates with the business for UAT
    • Creates or coordinates the creation of the Charm document: Drives the Charm process, following the release calendar
    • Ensures the story is part of the CR as created by the squad lead
    • Ensures the squad lead understands the change and can present the change in the SAP change control meeting
    • Confirms the change moved to prod; confirms with the business that the functionality is working in prod
    • Closes the story and coordinates with the squad lead for closure of the CR
    • Provides training to the business, other EBA, or IT Ops when new functionality goes live
  • Maintains the correct story status and updates the story notes frequently
  • Projects / Change requests:
    • Manage any projects or change requests
    • Responsible of date commitment
    • Proactively alert management in case of foreseen issues
  • In addition to above duties, this role involves to:
    • Self-training or checking new BI options / functions available through Internet
    • Empower business to be self sufficient by providing them appropriate reporting tools
    • Support BI initiatives (incl delivery/participation to trainings dedicated to Super users and end users)
  • Align Analytics Reporting activities to BI Strategy

Desired Experience:

  • High level of experience & knowledge about the processes, practices and operating policies within the different departments
  • Knowledge of SAP functionality & other reporting tools such as Business Objects, Power BI, etc
  • Strong experience and ability to work in a world wide environment with complex organizations
  • +3 years of experience in reporting or Supply Chain operational area
    • Preferred knowledge related to order management, planning operations, manufacturing, sourcing
  • Experience in reporting function would be a plus (ie, knowledge of queries creation / sqvi / BO explorer, Xcelsius…)
  • Global work experience with US, EMEA, APG, LAD teams


  • Has BS degree in any of the following: Computer Science, Engineering and Business
  • Ability to listen, understand and document requirements/solutions
