Business Area: Order to Cash

The Process Analyst is responsible in creating and managing efficient work processes in the essence of a successful business.  The Process Analyst role in Lexmark is focused on defining, developing, documenting, testing, and (continuously) optimizing the processes that support the Managed Services business model in the context of Order-to-Cash Invoicing. This role is also responsible for documenting processes, procedures, systems, training, and audit controls. 

The Process Analyst will define and develop key metrics/success criteria and actively monitor and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the customer operations function, in order to support the execution of the O2C Invoicing global processes and other processes that will align. Process analysis can be assisted by the use of a variety of modeling techniques and tools; including, but not limited to: Six Sigma, Lean, Capability Maturity Model, and others – any of which may be leveraged to create defined and repeatable processes. 

The Process Analyst reports to the Global Sub Process Lead, and coordinates closely with other Lexmark function teams (both GEO and local) – Business Operations, Finance, Worldwide Support, Technical Operations, the Lexmark Services Field team, and the Channel Partners. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities / Key Job Functions:

  • Analyzes customer data, information, and needs
  • Writes business documentation which include process maps, desk procedures and training manuals
  • Develops performance metrics for the measurement of key processes, develops and implements improvement strategies and tactics that continuously improve performance against key metrics, and benchmarks Lexmark performance against competitive providers to ensure Lexmark's position as a best-in-class provider
  • Interviews key stakeholders and customers including management, functional owners and geography participants to clearly identify and define process changes
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of Lexmark offerings
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in defining, developing and improving processes
  • Collaborates/communicates with other team members and geography focal points
  • Performs periodic audits of the geography teams against the WW Standard practices
  • Delivers training of operational processes to users of varying experience around the world.
  • Assure compliance with Lexmark and Customer's HR, procurement, legal, financial, ethics and government related policies, strategies and processes

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Experience leading projects that required working with multi-disciplined teams; experience working with world-wide teams preferred
  • Excellent understanding of analytical tools and project management tools. Must have MS Project, Visio and MS Office experience
  • Experience in developing and documenting processes
  • Experience in defining, monitoring, and reporting key metrics
  • Experience in gathering and soliciting business/process/customer requirements
