OPERATIONS MANAGER

Business Area: Order to Cash

Job Summary:

The 2nd  Line Operations Manager for Claim to Resolution ensures his / her team’s timely and accurate processing of claims of the partner or customer. This would entail adherence to the established policies (Global Policies and Procedures, Corporate Financial Policies) and commitment to in quality and service level.

The role requires you to liaise with key stakeholders, process owners (Global Sub-Process Lead, Global Process Lead) and upstream and downstream counterparts to ensure efficiency of the team and applicability of the process.

Key Roles &Responsibilities/Key Job Functions:

  • Work environment – create a working environment with a positive and proactive mindset.
  • Performance management – executes performance management process in accordance with Lexmark and department policies. Develops organizational capability looking at structure and competency of staff.
  • Operational effectiveness – manages day-to-day operations to ensure output are up to the standards of the company.
  • Continuous improvement – lead the team in identifying areas to improve by understanding each processes upstream and downstream.
  • Organizational leadership - conducts continual analysis and evaluation of strategic information. Plays a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Communication – facilitates internal and interdepartmental communication. Provides meaningful reporting to senior management in a timely and effective manner.
  • Financial management – manages department’s budget according to establish budget controls.
  • Recruiter - responsible for justifying and raising job openings and establishing the team’s hiring process.
  • Other assigned duties relative to the job.

Education, Experience & Certifications Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
  • 10+ years’ experience as a manager in Accounting / Finance or any related field
  • Experience with claims processing, contract / quote management and pricing Experience in cash collections and financial audit/analytics are preferred
