CONSOLIDATIONS ANALYST

Business Area: Plan to Report

Provides support to the Corporate Reporting and Consolidations Group including financial statement consolidation, external reporting and technical accounting in accordance with US GAAP, as well as compliance with internal and external regulations and policies.

Coordinates the monthly consolidation process and ensure accuracy in Lexmark's financial statements, integrity of data, compliance with deadlines, proper documentation and other corporate reporting requirements

Preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports, including requested analysis of actual results.

Assist in the resolution of issues in connection with the accounts together with the concerned Accountants and Controllers.

Preparation of schedules to support cash flow initiatives, audit, tax and Ninestar regulatory reporting

Providing support in assessing newly issued technical accounting issues as well as appropriate application of existing technical accounting guidelines.

Supporting other areas of Corporate Finance as necessary.

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the account's business value chain and business acumen
  • Proficient in financial data and trend analysis
  • Intermediate knowledge in excel, SAP systems, and business reporting tools. Knowledge in BPC is an advantage
  • Accounting policy understanding, interpretation, governance and exception handling
  • Can handle confidential and sensitive data and information
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Relevant Credentials:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (Master's degree is an advantage)
  • Certifiied Public Accountant (CPA)
  • At least 5 years of professional accounting experience both outside and within Lexmark
  • At least 2 years SAP General Ledger (GL) experience
