Job Purpose/Mission/Summary:

The Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer takes charge of qualifying products, processes, and services to ensure product readiness for customers, working with development engineers and other teams in planning and running accelerated reliability tests to reduce cost impacts during the development life cycle. The role involves predicting reliability using statistical tools, finding and documenting key life-related failure modes found in printers, and using techniques to find root causes and resolve critical problems, so that the information can be used as input during the design and development phase.

You must have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, or electronics engineering, or relevant engineering background
  • Relevant work experience in product reliability engineering, failure analysis, product engineering, test engineering, or process engineering
  • Working knowledge of reliability engineering principles
  • Project management skills
  • Experience with statistical methods and measures

  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication
  • Collaboration and coordination skills to work effectively with functional teams of different cultures and backgrounds
