Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the schedules and necessary compliance documentations required by external tax service providers/consultants in relation to the tax compliance for the assigned entities in the Americas
  • Handle Canada GST and HST return preparation, filing and related tax audits
  • Assist in reviewing Corporate Income Tax computations and returns of certain countries
  • Ensure prompt filing and payment of taxes handled for Americas
  • Provide the requirements of tax auditors and/or tax consultants for ongoing tax audit and other tax-related work
  • Prepare the balance sheet reconciliations and tax rollforward analysis for assigned tax accounts
  • Perform month-end close activities for assigned tax accounts
  • Handle tax-related projects, perform system testing for changes in tax set-up
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time


  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years tax compliance experience in the Big 4 or 4 years of tax experience in a local or multinational company
  • Knowledge and work experience in Canada taxation is an advantage
  • Experience in Corporate Income Tax return preparation
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work under heavy time pressure
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Ability to deliver according to established/committed deadlines
  • Exposed to conducting financial reviews and dealing with people across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Work with minimum supervision
  • Willing to work in Cebu City
