Job Purpose/Mission/Summary

The successful candidate will be working as part of a remarkable team which will be involved in the design, creation and debugging of embedded systems code during the full lifecycle of firmware development. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring timely firmware releases and DevOps processes from development to execution.


  • Monitor and ensure build infrastructure is reliable and robust.
  • Manage user access and code repositories.
  • Manage proxy, mirror servers, and build nodes.
  • Systems administration of firmware servers and services including LDAP, internal web servers, file servers, in-house build systems and Jenkins.
  • Manage developer workstations through via Samba, Puppet and Foreman.
  • Systems administration of firmware servers and services including build masters and slaves, internal web servers, file servers, LDAP, in-house build system, Jenkins, Buildbot, Git, Gerrit, and SVN.
  • Support development teams on build and related infrastructure issues and requests.
  • Improve DevOps through process efficiency initiatives and/or development of scripts and tools.

Skills Necessary:

  • Must have experience and knowledge in Linux system administration.
  • Knowledge in legacy Linux OSes [RedHat, CentOS] is preferred.
  • Scripting and programming skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Has attention to detail.
  • Can multitask.
  • Can work with minimum supervision.

Other Requirement:

  • BS degree in any of the following: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (degree in MS is an added advantage).
