EVENT MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Job Purpose/Mission/Summary

The main responsibility of this role is to monitor, create/provide correlation reports and analysis to all alerts and events for all Lexmark Systems and Applications.

Key Tasks:

  • Performs analysis to all OCC (Operations Control Center) events, incidents, requests, change requests, projects and tasks.
  • Monitoring of the IT infrastructure and applications through various IT control tools and/or real-time reporting engines.
  • Helps identify root-cause analysis and provides resolution to issues related to IT systems in production.
  • Creates and updates documentation related to Event Management and Business Processes.
  • Works closely with Incident Management should any system or application downtime occurs.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of IT related systems, enterprise applications and business processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Completes assignments as prioritized and directed with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibits solid interpersonal and professional skills.
  • Uses common sense and refers to existing practices and procedures when problem solving.
  • Exhibits characteristics of effective team player.
  • Seeks to continue learning and self-development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or any related courses.
  • Minimum of 2 years training/experience in related field.
  • Technical certifications desirable.
  • Knowledge in ITIL is an advantage.
