COUNTRY ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING TEAM MANAGER - LITSARL GROUP

Job Summary:

The Country Accounting and Reporting Team  Manager works as an extension of the Controllers in partnering with the functional teams to provide the following major tasks:

   > Oversight and management of the general ledger function in compliance with U.S. GAAP​.
   > Owning, managing and solving issues associated with key controllership​.
   > Responsibility for successfully satisfying local audit and other statutory reporting and compliance requirements in an accurate and timely manner​.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge across the different business models of the ledgers in scope.
  • Supervises and provides guidance to the specialist on the performance of the Trial Balance review and Balance Sheet analysis, identifies notable transactions and presents the highlights and summary of the reviews conducted to the stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties throughout the statutory audit process – International Compliance.
  • Team, External Auditors and Accounting teams, to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Monitors and ensures the performance of month-end closing activities.
  • Point of contact for Country and/or International Compliance Team for queries to any Accounting and GBS functional teams (i.e. OTC, PTP, etc.)
  • Ensures standard policies and procedures are applied and any exceptions are reported to stakeholders.
  • Continuous process or systems improvements:
    • Drives/supports or monitors process improvement projects.
    • Helps establish and update effective and efficient measures to ensure adherence to processes and procedures.

Competence, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Technical skills
    • Working knowledge of accounting principles, standards and techniques under US GAAP and IFRS.
    • Displays eagerness to learn new accounting standards and principles.
    • Shows curiosity and ongoing drive to better understand financial transactions to be able to relate them with the current situation of the company’s operations.
    • Knowledge of and hands-on experience in MS Office programs, SAP and other necessary tools/applications required to perform the role.

Education, Experience & Certifications Basic Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS Accounting. Preferably a CPA.
  • Relevant and related working experience minimum of 5 years in audit or general ledger/ financial reporting. With leadership role, an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience in ERP processes and systems, such as SAP.
  • Strong personality and has a positive attitude towards work.
  • Fluent in oral and written English communication.
