Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Global Analytics Manager, coordinate, plan, and execute project management activities required to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time and meet or exceed business expectations.  Assignments will include working with or managing business groups and the Global Analytics Team to effectively deliver strategic initiatives on the GAT Roadmap.  

 
Oversee various projects of a highly complex nature. Responsible for forming a diverse group into a project team, assigning individual responsibilities, coordinating with appropriate resources, and developing baseline schedules that ensure the timely completion of all assigned projects. Must communicate effectively with upper management, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts regarding project status.  
  
The successful candidate must have practical knowledge of managing large scale global projects in a matrixed environment and have working experience of agile, waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned project initiatives. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management tools, resource management practices and have practical experience in driving successful projects under challenging circumstances. Must also be an effective communicator (written and oral). 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain project plan from defined scope and goals.
  • Oversee project management from the planning stages to completion, including transition and support.
  • Coordinate, manage, and track all assigned tasks at a detailed level.
  • Drive the scheduling of discussions with account team and Data Engineers to capture actions.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with project team members, business key users, and upper management on a regular basis to explain the progress being made.
  • Lead the project scrum calls with key stakeholders, data engineers and data analysts to determine and mitigate roadblocks and delays that prevent project completion within the agreed timeline.
  • Manage and track detailed project plan and schedule to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Provide thought leadership to every aspect of project execution process.
  • Overall accountable for every aspect of assigned projects.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members to research and resolve escalated Incidents/Customer Requests.
  • Communicate tasks and schedule working closely with the GEO advocates.
  • Participate in critical problem-solving discussions.
  • Assists and Mentors team members with scripting communications appropriate to the target audience.

Education, Experience and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, or other related courses.
  • 5+ years of practical experience in Project Management (project initiation, risk management, project planning, scheduling, and meeting facilitation, task management and performance tracking).
