Job Purpose/Mission/Summary:

The successful candidate will be working within the global UX team to strategize and drive innovative and meaningful experiences across different platforms. This role will be championing the voice of the user – from generating user insights, translating insights into feature requirements, conducting thorough evaluations, and communicating findings to stakeholders. A creative and strategic approach to research, an effective collaboration with cross functional teams, a strong understanding of the Lexmark portfolio, and a passion for continuous improvement will be critical in ensuring personal and team success in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify key opportunities and influence the business strategy based on an acute understanding of the needs and expectations of our users, customers, and partners.
  • Ensure that user experiences align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with Development, Marketing, and Sales teams to improve experience design and create innovative solutions.
  • Practice Design Thinking to generate empathy and innovation.
  • Generate storyboards, user workflows, rapid prototypes, and wireframes.
  • Conduct research to identify and validate user behaviors and requirements.
  • Guide interaction design reviews and iterations with usability principles and testing data.
  • Generate user personas and user scenarios.
  • Define usability study protocols, moderate studies, analyze study data, write testing report, and propose design recommendations.
  • Keep up with UX and UI design trends.
  • Inspire team members with technical and professional guidance on career development.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within and outside of the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Experience in UX design and conducting user research is an advantage
  • Strong interest in the field of User Experience
  • Creativity and ability to see opportunities in problems
  • Ability to work well with other groups and with different levels of management
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
