Job Purpose/Mission/Summary

The Training Support Specialist is responsible for the success of the online training program for the sales team as part of the sales enablement mandate.  This person is responsible for the formatting, editing and accessibility of training modules for the sales team, as well as implementation and coordination of the training schedule with trainees as needed, collaborating with reports specialists to generate reports and dashboards, analyze and recommend opportunities to improve the online training program and implementation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Webinar Planning and Administration:
    • Plan, manage, schedule, and execute all webinars programs.
    • Develop and implement guidelines and protocols for conducting webinars.
    • Create, maintain, and execute a webinar schedule.
    • Organize registration and follow up for each webinar.
    • Design and optimization for ON24 console, landing page, and emails.
  • Webinar Execution, Promotion and General Support:
    • Host the web-event effectively and managing users.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful promotion of all webinars.
    • Record webinar sessions and edit audio for on-demand webinars.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, sales, customer support, product management, etc.) and provide support for their initiatives.
    • Post webinar surveys, polls, and act as a moderator (if necessary).
    • Project management for live, simulive and on-demand webinars.
    • ON24 integration with marketing automation, CRM and other core marketing and sales applications.
    • Ongoing ON24 administration services.
  • Training:
    • Provide training to presenters and organize the preconference planning calls.
    • Hands-on ON24 training as requested.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Measure the success of each webinar and report the results to management.
    • Analyze the data to identify and act on opportunities to improve the webinar execution and overall strategy as it supports nurture, leads, opportunities, and sales using the plan, do, check, and act cycle.

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of webinar technology.
  • Ability to integrate webinars into broader sales & marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with content management platforms.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and demanding timeframes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills.
  • Ability to be a proactive and savvy communicator.
  • A track record of performance excellence, meeting targets and objectives.

Education, Experience and Certifications Basic Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in business or computer science or other related course.
  • At least 2 years of experience in webinars or marketing events implementation, or business, marketing, or sales projects implementation, and/or sales and marketing platforms and technologies administration.
