Chemical Process Operator - 2nd Shift

The Chemical Process Operator will operate a variety of chemical processing equipment in preparing liquid or solid chemicals for either long or short cycle processing.  Responsibilities Include:

  • Weigh, measure, get proper proportions and mix ingredients.  
  • Test to meet standards.  
  • Make adjustments of equipment, temperature, pressure or time cycle as needed.
  • Perform minor maintenance task including cleaning, inspection and lubrication of equipment.

***This is a 2rd shift position.  

Educational Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions

  • Generally works in a plant environment but will be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • The noise level is frequently loud
  • Will occassionally have to wear safety PPE when handling chemical equipment.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00/hr (plus 10% shift differential)
