D365 Platform Quality Assurance Lead

This position will be for the D365 Platform Quality Lead supporting the D365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Project Services implementation.

 

Overview of the Quality Lead:

  • Define the quality initiatives and strategy for the D365 platform
  • Improve the overall quality process with the testing teams
  • Develop KPIs to measure the success of the quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with the testing teams to establish the QA processes
  • Improve the testing automation coverage for the D365 platform for regression and production validation.
  • Develop and implement QA automation standards and best practices for the D365 platform

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of automation standards and best practices for the D365 platform
  • Lead the creation of a QA automation strategy and drive awareness across the D365 platform
  • Collaborate with the IT Quality Assurance Practice lead to set automation standards and best practices across the IT organization
  • Empower and train application and platform teams on QA automation standards, best practices, and toolsets
  • Provide QA engineering for a cross-functional, highly visible, Microsoft D365 deployment
  • Identify opportunities and drive the implementation of automation to improve service health, manageability, and reliability
  • Remain current on new technologies, methods and procedures including, but not limited to, coding practices such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the area    
  • Effectively collaborate with peers and influence others      
  • Influence team members with innovative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking

 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Automation
  • Experience leading QA activities for a large scale global project
  • Project management
  • Experience driving change across a large distributed organization

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced with automation strategies for unit testing
  • Experienced with test driven development
  • Experienced with CI/CD pipeline automation, ideally on Microsoft D365 platform
  • Experienced with Selenium, JMeter, PostMan and other open source automation tools
  • Software Engineering Experience
  • ITIL Cerification
  • Agile and Scrum experience
  • Regression test management
