We are seeking a Senior Account Manager in the Midwest (MO, AR, KS, IA, NE) responsible for generating sales at assigned named accounts. This is a customer facing – face to face / direct contributor role with emphasis on enhancing current relationships, expanding client contacts, and developing new business within new and existing enterprise level accounts. Travel is required.
Representative activities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The ideal candidate has the ability to sell solutions, software, services, and hardware to the benefit of our customers. Sales can be through our channel partners as well as direct to the clients. The candidate should have proven success in the above activities as well as working with multiple contact levels within F1000 companies. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate complex selling skills, account and activity management and an ability to manage their territory to drive value for our clients and for Lexmark. Knowledge or experience working with healthcare, retail, or financial services organizations is a plus.
-4 year degree (BS/BA) preferred.
-Minimum of 5 -8 years of technology sales experience or software sales experience
-Proven business development success turning cold accounts into existing customers.
-Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of a complex sale.
-Ability to plan, organize, develop, and complete a complex proposal response.
-Experienced with high degree of proficiency using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS-Word.
-Strong presentation skills. Able to clearly and concisely develop & deliver concept presentations.
