Description

This position is for an individual to be responsible for lab operations & procurement in the Embedded Platform area. This person will be responsible for executing all business operations similar to a multi million-dollar company.  These include but are not limited to handling purchase orders, receiving and reconciling shipments, maintaining/controlling inventory, domestic and international shipping, working with suppliers & engineers for parts planning for upcoming manufacturing, and facilitating discussions with engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction) and overseas contract manufacturers for development manufacturing planning.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree preferred or 1-3 years relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Window Operating System, Office 365 tools and collaboration suite
  • Experience in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software preferred
  • Project management/time management skills a plus
  • Ability to be flexible in work schedule based on the needs of the business. (occasional overtime required)
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.
  • A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Is not an Engineer, but performs professional engineering and scientific assignments of a basic degree of complexity under limited direction and supervision.  At the contributor level employees perform lab tech assignments.
