Manager - Connectivity Solutions Team

The Embedded Solutions org is seeking a manager for the Connectivity Solutions team. This team provides hardware and firmware for the variety of secure connections required by our products, as well as the certifications that encompass those. This team and this position will be key in delivering all future embedded/cloud connectivity solutions to support imaging, adjacencies, and Ventures.

 

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Firmware support for ethernet connectivity, IPP, driverless print methods, authentication, secure print, fleet services, and secure cloud enablement.
  • Wireless hardware, firmware, and driver software management.
  • Fax, parallel port, serial port and fiber optic hardware.
  • Mobile performance and certification (AirPrint and Mopria).
  • Global homologation/certification of branded/OEM products.
  • Support across the above efforts for our branded products, OEM partners, and customers.

  • Is motivated to collaborate and work alongside highly functioning team members, as well as cross functionally across our business.
  • Can support multiple deliverables across hardware, firmware, OEM and branded products.
  • Is capable of strategic and logistic planning for all existing and future connectivity initiatives.

This is a people management & technical delivery role within Embedded Systems, requiring project management, understanding of technical processes, and excellent communication capability. It includes a high level of interaction with teams across Embedded Systems, Product Delivery, Portfolio Enablement, & Connected Technologies/Ventures. Minimal travel may be required.

This role requires the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Excellent documentation and organization skills
  • Experience leading technical teams
