1. OVERVIEW

    This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK SCAN TO
    RIGHTFAX application.

    Lexmark Scan to RightFax is an embedded solution that can be installed on
    multifunction products (MFPs) that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework
    (eSF) v6.x. This application lets you scan documents at a
    printer and send them directly to a RightFax server. RightFax is a network
    fax application that runs on Windows servers and enables users to receive
    faxes at their computers.



2. ASSOCIATED FILES

3. REQUIREMENTS

    a. A printer that supports eSF v6.x applications.

       Supported eSF v6.x printers include:
         

         * CX725
            * Required firmware level: ATL.030.036 or later

         * CX82x
            * Required firmware level: PP.030.036 or later

         * CX860
            * Required firmware level: PP.030.036 or later


    b. Memory: The printer must have a minimum of 256MB RAM.


    c. License: This application requires an electronic license. To obtain a
                  license, go to www.lexmark.com, and then click "Contact Us"
                  at the bottom of the page.



4. LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF THE RELEASE

    a. This version supports only MFPs with 7- and 10-inch touch-screen displays.
    
    b. Version 10.6 FP2 SR1 or higher of the RightFax server is required.
