ISD (Intelligent Storage Drive) is an updated storage option for Lexmark devices that provides both hard drive storage and solutions previously offered via solutions cards. It is faster and more energy efficient than current magnetic hard drives (HDD) and also provides all the functionality that solutions cards provide in current products. Most solutions that were previously delivered via solutions cards are now offered at no cost to customers who have an ISD installed.
