Our goal is to reduce our impact on the environment and help you do the same. Some of the ways Lexmark is making a difference include:
- Our innovative use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials helps reduce both the consumption of new natural resources and the amount of waste in landfills.
- All of Lexmark’s manufacturing sites are certified to rigorous quality, environmental and safety standards recognized worldwide, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 1801.
- Lexmark cartridge or equipment collection programmes are available in more than 60 countries, representing more than 90% of our global market.

Easy reuse and recycling
India enacted Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in 2016 as part of the E-Waste Management Rules. EPR requires producers of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) to provide for the collection and recycling of the in-scope end-of-life equipment.
To facilitate collection and recycling, Lexmark has partnered with TES-AMM in India to act as our Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO). India-based customers can drop off their end-of-life printers and supplies at one of the collection centres listed below. Lexmark will cover the recycling costs.

Raising awareness of e-waste management
Lexmark has also partnered with TES-AMM to raise awareness of waste management and safer e-waste disposal in our communities and schools. Programmes are being conducted across India to create awareness and responsible behavior to help ensure a sustainable future.
