Enables bidirectional communication

The bidirectional communication function allows the pilot to detect and automatically update the options installed at the time of installation or at the request of the user. This allows the driver to adjust various functions of our different printers. However, unlike other universal print drivers, network traffic is minimized.

Reduces costs of IT support

With one package to manage the use of packages Universal Print Driver simplifies testing and internal certification of printer drivers. Time spent on the installation, both on servers and workstations, is greatly reduced, as the hard drive space previously occupied by many drivers specific to products.

Increases the efficiency of the user

The packages Lexmark Universal Print Driver using the same graphical user interface that own drivers to products that users are accustomed to using. In addition, all queues now share the same interface, which results in reducing the number of calls to the help desk. Users can create and save profiles containing user settings they use most frequently. They can also opt for profiles created for them by the IT department.
