Faxing is not successful
On the Scan tab, make sure:
- From the What is being scanned? menu, you selected either Mixed Graphics and Text, Magazine, or Black Text. The fax function is not available if Photo is selected from the What is being scanned? menu.
- From the How will the scan be used? pop-up menu, you chose To fax.
- From the Send scanned images to: pop-up menu, you chose Fax.
After making sure that the above settings are in place, check that you loaded a text document in the scanner glass. The fax function only launches for text documents and does not send photo images.
